Hello!  My name is Robert Champion and I am an artist, media guy, manufacturer and storyteller. Welcome to The Sloping Companion.  This is my website that encompasses all of my projects into one place.  Let me tell you a little bit about what you can find on this website via the navigational tools at the top of this page.

I am currently working on projects through this portal to generate money for The Mockingbird Foundation and my media projects related to music, jamband culture and information that I think is important to our community.  Listen…Read…Rage.

Radio - The Sloping Companion Radio is a 24 hour radio station geared towards the Jamband community. We are currently offering three programs as well as programming from our archives.  Enjoy The Philler, Bob & Ron’s Record Club & The Super 70′s Show.   The station also offers sets that I DJ from my library.  You’ll get your fair share of Jamband material and will also get a peppering of something a little off the mark to help round out your experience on our site.  Sit back and enjoy.

Video – This is my Internet television station.  You’ll find original and found programming.  We also use this station to broadcast livestreams from time to time of various local bands in the Chicagoland area.  There is also a chatroom dedicated to this stream so feel free to chat and leave your comments.

Cloudcasts - These are the individual Cloudcasts via Mixcloud that air on our Internet Radio Station.  You can listen to individual programs with just a simple click at our Mixcloud archive.
